teacher or student learning

I am taking graduate classes learning new instructional methods and new technologies to present these methods while keeping my students interested and in touch with what is going on in their lives. I am learning that I don't know who learns more the teacher or the student. As a teacher it is almost like you are always a student. This is even more so in Career and Technical education. Staying up to date with advancements in technology and then being knowledgeable enough to teach it is a bit over whelming. Maybe I should have chosen to teach English like my brother.
